o, I missed yesterday.....

...and nearly missed today!! but here i am, under the wire, 11:37 my time.

i have always loved to make things out of "other things" it never really worked out for me when i was younger (dont ask me about the gloves I tried to make out of old blak nylons)

recently, some things made out of old htings, have been more sucessful. and its not even a diaper!

these are some pj's i made zibs out of an old tee that i held onto forever from my preteen years. its from westbrook lobster, a fav resturant of my grandparents in connecticut. i always thought it was so funny, its a lobster boiling people. har har.

please forgive the picture, zibs was ready to go to bed and wouldnt smile. dady is trying to tickle her into obedience.

anyway, i added contrasing sleeves out of red nit fabric my mom gave me forever ago. (see mom, i do use the stuff you give me!)

must sleep now.

i barely know what day it is....

i am so tired.. no pics today.

I had a hard day... two sickish kids. one sickish mama. lots of fussing done by all. Libby watched the wiggles and dora (thanks bro!) and lady and the tramp. ack! just thought i would share incase any other moms are out there feeling tired and used up ;)

day 4 is it?

Have I mentioned..... I make hairbows now?? yeah, another project. i need that like a hole in the head. (at least that is what my mom would say) (actually she said "those are pretty!"... or something like that, but i remember her saying the previous comment often when i was a kid) so. yeah. i mostly do custome orders, and sell some in my shop (online). more on that later.

day 2....

today was boo boo's birthday party!! happy four years old!!

i made him some undies and a "memory" game using family pics (just the game used family pics, the undies are made from recycled t-shrits and some cool fabric scraps i had)

i mostly used goofy photos in the hopes that they would make the b-day boy smile one of these days when the hot wheels bonanza slows down. i relized after it was too late that i left out a picture of myself...

the "more" i mentioned in the last post....

so, i made a dipaer cake for a friends baby shower...

    

it was fun. it was massive.

 

i sewed all the stuff that is "decorating" it. if has 2 blankets, three burp cloths and a hat... 

oh yeah, and over 200 diapers... 

say what?

 i told you it was massive.
